I am wondering if this is a huge deal so I'll take the discussion over there. So I guess I should request copying capabilities in the feature request forum. What a PITA to have to drag those out just to move a few files. But I hate the interface and couldn't get plugins to work with either one. The only thing I do trust right now is Free Commander or Unreal Commander. This is definitely one to put on the request list because, so far, I really don't like Tera Copy (it has failed me and created some real messes.) I have not tried SuperCopier (thanks for the suggestion.) Robo Copy seemed exactly the same as Tera Copy so haven't decided if I trust it. I suspect this was how it deleted the missing files too. So glad you told me! Windows also has a nasty habit of renaming all of my music files to short names when transferring over the network or between disks. (Lucky catch!) I am tired of having to second guess it so I was hoping Explorer++ would do the copying. Tip: If your PC is running Windows 10 Technical Preview, you can find Defaults in PC settings/Search.
Step 3: Enter Defaults, click a default app and choose another program in the pop-up menu. I have also caught it red handed by doing directory comparisons after large copy jobs. Step 1: Click the bottom-left Start button and tap Settings in the Start Menu.
I actually just installed Explorer++ solely because some of my files are missing - but the folders were left behind just to mock me - I am suspicious of Win7. Explorer++ is not the copy program? Eeeek!
